Very Important:

Keep it in your glove box. It will tell you what to do after an auto accident.

If you are in an auto accident it is important to know what to do afterwards. I am speaking from first hand experience having been injured in several collisions over the years.

What you do after a crash, even if it is just a fender bender, influences whether you will make a full recovery or suffer from chronic pain.

You could develop following symptoms after an auto accident:

Auto Accident Reporting

If you are physically able to do so after an auto accident you should do the following:

  • Exchange your drivers license, insurance, and registration information with the other party involved
  • Report the crash to the local police and file an accident report
  • Call your insurance agent and company to report your injuries and vehicle damage
  • Get a claim number from your insurance company for your injuries and property damage
  • If serious injuries or fractures have occurred go to the hospital
  • Call or walk-in to your Chiropractor’s Office for an evaluation of your pain, alignment, and soft tissue injuries

Auto Accident Treatment

Even small accidents can cause pain that requires treatment. Sometimes your pain will ease after a few days, only to return months or years later. That is why I recommend everyone see a chiropractor for an evaluation after an auto accident.

Chiropractors are licensed in Massachusetts to treat patients with auto accident injuries. Treatment is typically covered 100% by your auto insurance policy. We file and handle all necessary paperwork for your treatment.

If you are injured in an auto accident, call my office at 781-829-9300. We will take your pain and injuries seriously and help you get back to feeling good, moving freely, and living pain free again.

Best Regards,

Dr. Sarro
