Shoulder Pain Symptoms

Your shoulder pain symptoms are likely related to the following three underlying issues:

  • Improper alignment and posture of your neck, upper back, and shoulder joint
  • Improper soft tissue flexibility, strength, and muscle imbalances
  • Excessive build up of inflammation in your back, neck, and shoulder

It is common to have a rounded shoulder posture with shoulder pain. You may feel you’re slumped forward. Many patients even tell me they feel as if their head is feels forward also.

Your chest may feel tight when you try to stretch your shoulders back. Your upper back may feel weak or tight. You may hear clicking in your shoulders when you rotate them. You may wake up with numbness in your hands.
